To All Coaches,
Schedules are as followed in each bracket we understand that there may be a conflict with games but we can not guarantee a time or date change. We will do our best with enough times notice, but the schedule is up in advance so everybody is aware ahead of time so teams can make arrangements. Thanks Again to All Schools, Coaches and Players.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT & RULES
The tournament will be double elimination and divisions will be determined following the receipt of applications. Coaches will be notified of your first game and brackets will be posted.
RULES - Junior varsity games consist of four 6-minute quarters and varsity games consist of four 7-minute quarters. - Overtime periods will be two minutes for junior varsity games and three minutes for varsity games. - Teams will receive 3 one-minute and 2 30-second timeouts during a game. Teams will receive one extra timeout in each OT period. - National Federation of High School rules will govern play, except those tournament rules specific within. - Teams must play at scheduled starting time if 5 rostered players are on hand. - There is a 10-minute leeway in the event a team does not have 5 rostered players at the scheduled starting time. Game will be forfeited if teams do not reach minimum level of players. - Teams must shoot at the basket opposite their bench in the first half. - Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their team throughout the tournament - Players may participate in only division of play in the tournament (i.e., junior varsity players will not be permitted to play in the varsity division). - A 20-point press rule will be implemented (teams up by 20 or more points may not press). -In the event that a player or coach is ejected from a game it will be up to the tournament director to decide discipline action. After the situation has been evaluated with the officials that game, a determination of a 1 game suspension or the entire tournament will than be established.
In the event of inclement weather, etc., the tournament committee reserves the right to reschedule games in the best interest of the tournament.
